ok, but not what I expected
This item was ordered for wearing to a steampunk convention and I liked the picture shown for the item, but the actual item isn't quite what seems to be pictured. I was expecting a hat which looked more authentic, what I got was what would be expected of an obvious child's costume accessory.

The vinyl has the plastic shiny sheen to it, not slick but very plastic-y looking, and the "fur" lining is very thin and looks very fake. The hat itself is not heavy, but probably not something I want to wear in the heat since it does have a felt-like lining.

I am sure this item is perfect for a child's costume (and doesn't fit well on an adult) but not good for anything that would pass as 'authentic'. I will say I probably should have read the description better before ordering. It was shipped very fast and there were no issues with payment.

Great prop for the price;make your own goggles. I found them to be a bit warm for Socal daytime events.
