An excellent bowler hat
I am very impressed with this hat. At the price I wasn't expecting much, despite the other raving reviews for this and other New Era Derby Hats. It has very stiff frame, with a nice dark brown wool exterior and silk lining inside. there is a leather(ish) band on the inside that rests against your head. I could see that becoming an issue if you sweat a lot as it got a bit damp while wearing it in the sun.

I did purchase this more as a costume hat for a steampunk outfit (it looks great with goggles), but could see myself using it for other purposes as well. The shipping price is a bit steep, but it does come very well packaged so I felt like the fee was well used.

The hat is fantastic. Many items in this price range can have a costume-y look, but this is the real deal, fine lining and all. It's short brimmed, which is much more aesthetically pleasing in a bowler, and can be hard to find with the multitude of unprofessional reproductions out there. Not only that, it's one of the few places I've ever managed to find my hat size (XXL). This is absolutely worth getting.

A top quality hat that your head will rejoice to wear!
As stated in the title of my review this hat is of the utmost quality for the price. I couldn't find anything that deemed this hat unworthy to rest on top of my head. The fit was excellent and everything is as displayed in the picture. It is truly a superb head accessory!
