everyone i know is looking at me funny cause im going around with welding goggles on my head and i dont weld. i ordered them because since i was a young child ive been obsessed with welding goggles. i think they are cool and i try to collect them in various shapes and colors and ages. all started with a pair of world war two goggles that belonged to my grandfather.

shipping for this item was super speedy, however, the box gave me a shock when it arrived. it was beaten up pretty bad. the contents however were still in perfect, from the factory, condition.

there are four vents to these goggles, two on top and two on bottom. the dark lens feel a bit flimsy to pop up and down, like they will break at the hinge. all plastic goggles with an elastic band to keep it hugging your head. with dark lens flipped up, the clear plastic ones beneath work pretty well for just looking around.

my friend who wears eye glasses tried them on and played around with them. he said they were comfortable and didnt squeeze his glasses to his face.

as for using these for their purpose, i dont know, but staring at the sun with the dark lens down is awesome. slight hue of green to the world, but it just was cool to watch the sun set last night.

they make a nice addition to my collection. my hubby now wants a set for himself. they fit my needs for them. i dont think this review will help anyone else, but i like to babble. ^_^

btw, i purchased these as part of a deal for three different pairs. the other two pairs had free super saver shipping. got an email late last night that the billing info for the other two pairs was finally received by ups. so hopefully they will be here soon too.
