it wasn't bad
I'm not into the whole anime thing due to a strong social life and too much self respect to be sucked into a propaganda which makes people whom have very little looks or hygiene feel powerful or "bad ass," but my friend happens to like this sort of thing so I checked it out. I bought this because it was right in my budget and looked cool seeing as Jaason(said friend)is in love with this Bleach show. When it came it didn't look too bad, although there were dents and tiny little dots of steel where the paint came off. I had a hard time realizing what the big deal was about this katana, especially with the big CHINA written on it, but my little buddy liked it so I see no reason in getting it for someone else. I would definitely recommend it, although I personally don't think it's all that great.

I ordered this sword as a present for a very good friend. I recieved my package and when I opened it the sword was not in the condition I was expecting. The blade is scratched, the gaurd is scratched, the pommel and chain pop right off, the blade collar is just a clear plastic peice put on because that is the only way to secure it in the scabbard so the sword doesnt fall out, the scabbard is just a hollowed out peice of wood and is not fitted for the sword at all. I took off the plastic peice and was willing to get rid of the scabbard but it turns out that it has another collar underneath it just swimming in a pool of super glue. This is a terrible sword, even for its price. Very disappointed. Oh but on a positive side it was delivered extremely fast and when it comes to the return i have not run into any problems yet.

My brother loved this sword for Christmas. Some people were complaining about it being not sharp, and it's not razor sharp. But come on. What are you people using it for? His is hanging on his wall.

MY SON IS A HUGE BLEACH FAN AND LOVES HIS SWORD...HE ALSO NOTED THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND HOW IT IS ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE WON USED BY THE SUSTITUTE SOUL REAPER ICHIGO...EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP AS WELL...I WOULD SUGGEST THIS FOR ANYONE WHO LOVE BLEACH...GREAT PART OF ANY COLLECTION...

Best sword so far!
This is one of the best swords that I have owned, or even seen so far! Don't listen to all of the bad reviews, this sword is perfect! How so?

-Black Blade
-Chain is on the handle
-Sheath is nice and light
-Sword is light, but sturdy
-Perfect condition

The only downside is, is it doesn't come with a strap to wear it, not even for cosplay =( Anyways, done with my point. PERFECT SWORD! Can't wait to buy Hitsugayas'!
