This tie seems very authentic, it's made of a nice silky material, the colors are right on, and it has an authentic gryffindor symbol on the bottom. I was very pleased with this purchase!

I wore this tie to the grand opening of the Harry Potter theme park. I was stopped so many times by people giving me complements and asking where I got it. It looks just like the tie worn in the movies.

this was an ok purchase
As a tie, this was a good purchase. As a HP Gryffindor tie, this was an ok purchase. The colour was slightly off from the crimson it was supposed to be. It was more on the purple side. But the quality of the actual tie was good.

The product itself was good enough, for the cost, but the colors were definitely purple and yellow - not burgundy and gold. A little disappointing, but I'm fairly sure no one but me noticed on Halloween.
